It has a well seasoned mussel, delicious and wholesome. We orders tomato soup and chicken caesar salad. They were delicious too. Love the vibes in this place. Pers are allowed inside the restaurant. And you can order drinks and sit outside too.
There isn't much foot choice, but it is a quiet cafe where you can relax and sit down for a while.
What a great place to eat! They do not take reservations, first come first serve, which is so nice. Food was good, service was great, the atmosphere was clean and cozy. Highly recommend. I had the chicken Caesar salad, with a side of chips & gravy. My friend had the cheese and chutney board.
We walked right up with a party of six in May 2025 for dinner service. They have a full menu with delicious offerings from fish and chips to daily specials like sweet potato risotto. We had an awesome meal and the service was fast and friendly. We had three kids with us and it was great for all ages.
We came out of desperation because all the other places on easter Saturday in Portree were booked out. Turned out to be a decent spot, there are quite bright tables in front of the restaurant or booth-like tables at back, where we were sitting. They were a bit darker tho. The service was fast and friendly. The food was also decent, we recommend the mussels (with a positively surprising sauce) and the fish soup - it was great. Other than that fish and chips and salads were good. We havent tried any cocktails but they looked great
